About Me
Hi, I'm Kuhika…and here's my story.

The start
I’m from India, and for as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to people to understand what they feel, what they dream about, and how their stories shape who they are.
As a kid, empathy more or less came naturally to me. I loved telling stories through theatre, music, and performing arts. This was a way of bringing people’s emotions to life on stage and finding ways to make them feel seen. I’ve always been an artist at heart, but also someone who loves solving problems.
Over the years, I have discovered that storytelling could be a powerful way to do just that. To connect, to inspire, and to make change happen.
How I found my place in communications
That passion led me to study graphic design in undergrad, where I mostly learned how to communicate ideas visually (and as creatively as possible). I started out as a communications designer, and before long, moved into corporate communications. It just clicked.
For the past five years, I’ve worked as a strategic communicator, leading various internal and external communications projects. I love crafting communication strategies and I’m just as good at getting it done.
What’s next?
Right now, I’m in Boston, pursuing my Master of Science (MS) in Media Innovation and Data Communication at Northeastern University, with a focus on digital journalism and data visualization.
I chose this path because I love data. I’m fascinated by how it can reveal such powerful human stories, and I’m learning how to share those stories in ways that are clear, insightful, and most of all, human.
Beyond Work
When I’m not thinking about work or academics, you’ll probably find me behind my camera, capturing cinematic cityscapes. It’s my way of pausing, observing, and telling stories from everyday life. You can see a bit of that world on Instagram @kuhikaarwaan.
Expertise
I work across strategic communications, storytelling, and digital media.
I enjoy turning messy, complex ideas into engaging messages that actually resonate. My process has narrative, design, and data so the work isn’t just well crafted - it connects with people.

This is how I like to work
Simple, clear, and always focused on what the story really needs.
01
Understand the Story
I start by getting clear on the problem, the audience, and the message. This is where I gather context, ask questions, and figure out what really needs to be said.
02
Shape the Narrative
Then, I outline the structure, tone, and core ideas. Whether it’s a campaign, a video, or a data story, this is where the concept takes form.
03
Create & Iterate
I develop the content - visuals, data, media, or writing - and refine it through feedback. The goal is clarity and impact.
04
Finalize & Deliver
I polish the final piece, align it with the larger strategy, and make sure it’s ready for the audience it’s meant for.
